Didactic teaching is an important part of our Family Medicine Program. It consists of morning reports as well as weekly afternoon lectures. At morning report, residents present recently admitted patients and each case is then discussed for differential, workup and management. The weekly afternoon lectures provide a diverse educational experience, offering presentations by our own residents, attendings, and many physicians from our community.

Our Outpatient Clinic:

Our Family Medicine Center opened in June 2003. Located in northwest Las Vegas the Center supports the educational, administrative and ambulatory care activities of the Department. Our state-of-the-art facility promotes best practices patient care, scholarly pursuits, teaching activities and residency operations.
