Dr. Palmer graduated from Manhattan College, Summa Cum Laude and attended medical school at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She trained at the University of Wisconsin, St Mary's Hospital Family Practice Residency and has also completed the National Institute of Program Director Development Fellowship. Dr. Palmer has worked in private practice at Central Maine Clinical Associates (Maine) and Stowe Family Practice (Vermont). Most recently, she has served as the Program Director of the Altoona Family Physicians Residency in Pennsylvania. Dr. Palmer joined our program as a full professor as well as director of reproductive services and director of the rural track residency program. Her areas of interest include medical genetics leadership in medicine, Residency education, women's health and Obstetrics.
