Jaleel was born and raised in Las Vegas but left for college and medical school, and had the opportunity to travel to a great many places.  He has lived in San Diego, Dominica, Miami, New York, and Bakersfield and had the fortune to travel to many other interesting places. Some of his other hobbies besides travel are watching classic movies and skiing. Luckily for Jaleel, growing up here in the desert, that Utah has been so close. There is some great skiing in Brian Head where he has spent many a winter holiday enjoying the slopes.
