Katie received her Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Touro University Nevada in May 2009. Prior to attending medical school, she obtained a B.A. from the University of San Diego in Religious Studies and a Master of Public Health from Portland State University in Health Education/Health Promotion. Katie chose to pursue her Residency in Family Medicine because she wanted to be able to treat all ages and types of patients. Katie is considering continuing her eduation in either Geriatrics or Hospice after residency. Her professional interests include medical education, community outreach, geriatrics and end-of-life care.
