Steve was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He attended the Univeristy of Utah where he graduated with a BA in German and a BS in Exercise and Sports Science.  He and his family moved to Erie, Pennsylvannia to attend Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine where he graduated in 2008.  Steve completed a traditional internship at Valley Hospital Medical Center.  He has four children including twins.  He enjoys cycling, running and spending time with his family.
