Born and raised on Kaua'i, Hawai'i, Wade is now currently a Las Vegas resident and enjoying the neon lights and the video games that seem to endlessly take his quarters. Wade received his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine (UNSOM) in May 2008. Prior to attending medical school, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Prior to his medical school aspirations, Wade continued with his academics by working toward a masters degree in biochemistry and doing extensive research in breast cancer with affiliation with Las Vegas Cancer Institute with his mentor Dr. Stephen Carper. Rest in peace. Dr. Gaal joined the Department of Family Medicine in 2011 and currently works at the UNLV Student Wellness Center.
